DevLog#2 - Laying out the foundation
Welcome back to Development Log Number 2!
Chris here, and we are back with a new dev log for the week! It’s a smaller devlog, but not every week is the same.
Week 2
We opened up our Discord server over here - if you got any questions let us know. ;-) This week started off a bit slower as I have my dayjob bogging me down - but I managed to get a bit done. Dundel redid most of the screens so it was my time to reimplement some of the techniques. Also, AnimationPlayer is smoooooth. So we redid the top bar a bit…
aswell as the shop.
There are still some things to hook up like the coin counter, but most scenes are already connected to the savegame system, so they are already manipulatable and loadable.
Future
Next steps are to implement the animals, so look forward to our little pink friend next week. :D
If you got any questions, make sure to leave them below or ask them over at our discord, we’re very open about this process, so everything goes. :-)
Until next time, Chris
Dundel & Chris' Pixeling Farm
